AHP Healthcare Solutions is pleased to introduce a  series of implementation tools addressing the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) of 2008.  All of these resources are relevant to Health Care Reform as well given the need to comply with Parity at the level of health insurance exchanges and Medicaid expansion.

We reviewed parity research, examined Federal and State experiences, and conducted key informant interviews with leaders in the private and public sectors.  Representatives of the private and public sectors have varying viewpoints on the challenges and opportunities that come with implementation of MHPAEA and Reform. Nonetheless, private and public sector interests are multifaceted and overlap in numerous areas.
